Loving Day Cambridge 2017 events will offer welcoming and celebratory spaces for individuals and families of all colors and cultures. Each event is open and free to the public and designed to reflect and promote inclusion, equity and the right to marry regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, gender, physical and mental disability, sexual orientation or religion.


GOLD End of Year Celebration

Join us in celebrating the achievements of the YWCA Cambridge Girls Only Leadership Develop (GOLD) program participants and mentors as the 2016-2017 program comes to an end!

As the GOLD participants prepare to move on to high school, the GOLD staff and mentors want to honor the dedication, leadership and positive energy they brought to GOLD, YWCA Cambridge, and City Hall this year. 

*Participants and mentors should arrive by 4pm.*
Parents, guardians, and community members may arrive at 5pm. 

The ceremony will run from 5-7pm, dinner will be provided.

A one-woman show exploring the intersections of race, class, and gender in search of truth, justice and love. The show incorporates filmed images, photographs, and animation to tell the story of how the notion of ‘race’ came to be in the United States and how it affects our most intimate relationships.

Back to Camp Movie Night!

Come back to camp in style with a movie night including pizza, games, and more!

PARENTS: Take a night off and rest assured your kids are in safe hands!

FIRST-TIMERS: Is this your child's first time at the Marshfield Branch, YWCA Cambridge Summer Day Camp? This movie night gives them the opportunity to shake off those pre-camp nerves by meeting their fellow campers and all the camp counselors and staff! 

RETURNERS: Whether this is your child or teenager's first year back to camp or 5th year back to camp they're sure to have fun reconnecting with campers and staff from year's past!!

*Cost is $5 per child, all children registered must be attending at least 1 week of the 2017 Summer Day Camp. All campers in the CIT program are also welcome to attend! *


YWCA Cambridge Annual Meeting

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the YWCA Cambridge (also known as the Young Women's Christian Association of Cambridge) for the fiscal year ending December 31st 2016 on Monday June 26th at 5:30 p.m at Hannum Hall, at the YWCA Cambridge Main Building, 7 Temple Street, Cambridge. 

All current voting members of the YWCA Cambridge will have the opportunity to vote on the following issues: 
-Approval of of the 2016 Annual Report
-Approval of the 2016 Audited Financials
-Election of Board of Trustees.

Board of Trustees members elected since the June 2016 Annual Meeting will be introduced. Retiring members of the Board of Trustees will be recognized for their years of service. 

Light refeshments will be served. 

The meeting will adjourn promptly at 6:30.
